HELLO, I AM GENE AND I HAVE CREATED SEVERAL PAGES THAT SHOW SOME OF MY SPECIAL INTERESTS.


THREE EVENTS HAD SIGNIFICANT AFFECTS ON MY LIFE. IN 1946 I ENLISTED IN THE MARINE CORPS. AFTER KOREA AND THE CHOSIN RESERVOIR, I RETURNED TO THE STATES AND IN 1957, I BECAME A CHRISTIAN AND ACCEPTED THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AS MY SAVIOR. SINCE THEN I HAVE TRIED TO LIVE THE CHRISTIAN LIFE AS THE LORD LEADS ME. ALSO IN 1957 I MARRIED MY WIFE, VERNA, WHO HAS BEEN THERE TO MAKE MY LIFE MORE COMPLETE. THESE EVENTS WERE ALL FOR THE BETTER .


IN JULY 1966 I RETIRED FROM THE U.S. MARINE CORPS. AFTER RETIRING, VERNA AND I MADE OUR HOME IN NORTHWESTERN LOWER MICHIGAN, AND ENJOY THIS VERY LOVELY AREA. THIS IS HOME TOWN TO VERNA, BUT I AM A TRANSPLANT FROM OKLAHOMA. FEEL FREE TO BROWSE AROUND, AND PERHAPS YOU MIGHT FIND SOMETHING OF INTEREST TO YOU, TOO.
