In 1973 I was priveledged to visit the Holy Land along with my brother-in-law, Leslie Orcutt.It was a very enjoyable and enlightening trip. Just imagine perhaps we walked in some of the same areas that Jesus walked.This is quite a humbling experience. To be sure things are not exactly the same today as it was in the time Jesus walked there, but many of the sites would be very much like in His day. As our guides related what had taken place here, we must note that they had a story to tell and they would tell it like they had been taught, and I am sure that the true story was in there somewhere.

And so it is, the hoy land has been occuppied and controlled by many down through the ages and even today there is a struggle to decide who controls what. Hopefully someday the Palestinians and the people of Israel will be able to come to a solution, so that each may live in peace with each other.
